Step and hardscape lights are low-profile fixtures designed to mount into or beneath the built elements of a landscape, such as stair risers, retaining walls, seat walls, and column caps. Often a slim bar or puck, they tuck under a cap stone or into a recess so the source stays hidden and only a clean wash of light spills across the surface below. The goal is both safety, marking the edges of steps and changes in grade so no one stumbles, and beauty, tracing the architecture of a patio or wall with a soft glow. We integrate them into masonry during or after construction so they read as part of the structure, not an add-on.
