Low-Voltage
A 12-volt outdoor system, stepped down by a transformer, that is safe and flexible to install.
Low-voltage is the standard for residential landscape lighting, running fixtures at a safe 12 volts instead of the 120-volt line-voltage that powers your house. A transformer steps the household power down to 12 volts, which dramatically reduces shock risk, allows shallower cable burial, and makes the system easy to adjust, expand, or relocate as a garden matures. Because the voltage is low, you can move a fixture or add to a run without major electrical work. The main design consideration is voltage drop over long cable lengths, which careful wiring and a properly sized transformer manage. We build low-voltage 12-volt systems for their safety, longevity, and the flexibility homeowners appreciate over time.
